Anoka一詞的原文來自於南美洲的亞瑪那原住民母語，簡意月亮，當地用來形容類似月神之獻禮的美好事物，水源來來自南緯55度阿根廷火地島省的巴塔哥尼亞安第斯山脈，距離南極圈南緯66度僅500公里，可謂是世界盡頭 ；安第斯山脈上有兩條高懸在此山頭的遠古冰川，與世隔絕了兩萬年，為地球上僅存最珍貴與零污染的純淨水資源，也就是孕育了 Anoka南極冰川水的故鄉。
Anoka, a word which means "moon", originated from the aboriginal mother tongue of South American's Amana tribe. It also has a greater meaning of "Beautiful Gift to the Goddess of Moon".
